Born in Africa from mixed parents, Ida Ljungqvist makes history as the first African-born Playmate of the Year for 2009 and the 50th lucky lady to receive the particular distinction. She is well-traveled, courtesy of her Swedish dad who works for UNESCO. Ida is trilingual as well – she can speak English, Swedish, and Swahili, from her mom’s side. No one in the right mind would marry Ida then divorce her afterwards, but apparently, someone made that mistake.
